There are some gay men who have the looks to always get exactly what they want, whenever they want it. It seems nature just blessed them with that natural charm along with their irresistible handsome features that, literally, will charm your clothes right off of your body.

I know this because when I first came out of the closet as a gay man, during my senior year in high school, I met such a man. And I dated him. And he "bedded" me (in other words, we were sexually active together). He was hella-hot in the looks department, had an award-winning smile, was built with a body "to-die" for any had a deep voice that would calm a hurricane. 

He was the man who took my virginity (penetrated my ass with his penis). For that, I am eternally grateful as he was the gentle, patient and very understanding. He opened my eyes and my desires into the many splendid joys of man-on-man sex. I know that I will remember him forever. 

He was also the first man that I ever knew who died of complications due to HIV infection. He knew that he had AIDS and taught me the life-saving importance of sex always with a condom. He made me promise him that I would always make sure that I had a condom available whenever I was intimate with another man. To this day, I have kept my promise to him. 

This man also introduced me into the wonderful and dynamic world of gay social nudity. He took me to nudist gatherings where I was amazed at the sheer number and beauty of all the men, out, proud and naked! We frequently visited a nearby nude beach together and he showed me the "gay section" of the beach and introduced me to all of his friends. For initiating me into the life of gay, male nudism, I am eternally appreciative. 

Today is his farewell-to-earth day. He died at noon on this exact day, 2005. I miss him still. I hope he knows that I'll never forget him.

A Powerful Message

This past week, the vice-president-elect and very homophobic former governor of Ohio attended an evening Broadway performance to the current hit show, Hamilton: The Musical. The cast of the show is very diverse and consists of a large number of racial, ethnic and sexual minorities. All of whom have been widely disparaged by the incoming administration. 

At the conclusion of that particular evening's performance, the entire cast gathered onstage following the curtain-call. This was the message delivered by the staff to the vice-president-elect:

I know that I am not alone in being extremely disappointed and disillusioned over the results of the recent election. This vote, I believe, does not bode well for this country and especially for the Black people who live here. 

However, I am impressed with the strong and conciliatory message the cast of Hamilton: The Musical delivered to the vice-president-elect. I sincerely hope that plea for equality and fairness is received and acted upon by the incoming administration. 

If it is ignored, then there is very little hope for any of us in this once-great nation.

Vigilance Needed!

The American election results this past week were an insult to democracy and a disgrace for all of humanity. I believe that we will all need to brace ourselves for four years of irresponsible and ineffective leadership. This is a shame as I honestly thought that we, as both a country and as a society were finally on the path to making this nation into what it was intended to be. A bastion of equality and freedom. 

With an executive and legislative branches in the complete but incompetent hands of reactionary incompetents, true diligence is now resting solely upon our shoulders. We all need to be attentive and to carefully watch our own and our brother's backs. We cannot afford to allow racists, sexists and homophobes to succeed in holding us in any semblance of subservience. 

Prepare for the intense fighting ahead. Unfortunately, we all must survive this struggle in order to emerge victorious in the end.

Digital Images: Strong Black Men

There aren't too often that you see images of strong Black men on the internet. That's one of the reasons I decided that today's post would feature a few pictures that depict the greatness and strength of our race and gender. These photos were randomly gleaned from the internet and I don't own the rights to them.

The one pictured above is of a warrior on his throne. Powerful, majestic and obviously in command and control. This is the way it should be: inferior to none.

The one featured below is another powerful Black man, confident in both his nakedness and his race. This particular one shows a manly erection. This image shows the virility of a Black man without being involved in any sexual activity. 

The pride exhibited by both of these reflections of Black masculinity should inspire us all!

Sexual Position: Preference?

The variety of sexual positions available to us as gay men is truly awesome! There is no limit as to the opportunities possible for us to experience the dick! One may be a "bottom" (the dude who gets his ass fucked) or a "top" (the dude who inserts his dick into another man's ass) but the many ways we experience our sexual gratification are unlimited.  

Part of the joy of being gay is that we aren't limited to just the traditional sexual positions as taught by others. The world is a sexual playground for us all to enjoy as we see fit. As long as the two dudes involved are consenting and willing, there are many options that we can explore and indulge. 

The above photograph demonstrates two male couples seeking their sexual glory in two different ways. The couple on the left are enjoying the "bottom" brotha riding his partner's erection. For the energetic and enthusiastic bottom man, this position is heaven. The variety of letting his "bottom bro" do the job is often very appreciated and welcome by his "top" man! It may even help some mediocre performers in bed to improve and "step-up" their performance!

Naked Selfies

Taking "selfies" (self-photography) is a really popular trend right now. If you doubt me for one minute, look at the explosion of social media users and their postings. Better still, click over to tumblr.com and check out the thousands of bloggers their who are posting images of their cocks, asses and everything else anatomically imaginable. 

But what about those of us who aren't interested in publicly sharing pictures of our body parts with strangers? We simply want some photos of our nudity to exchange with our naked or nude friends and a few select others, such as potential boyfriends or maybe fuck-buddies (dudes we hook-up with just for sex and no-strings attached.  

I don't know about you, but I get pretty tired of seeing the same old photos of a man's dick or his ass or both. There's more to all of us when we're naked or nude than just our sexual anatomy. In my own opinion, I'd rather see the whole man, all of him, or at least as much that can comfortably fit into the photographic view without having to go grab a magnifying glass or high-powered binoculars. If we're going to be making naked pictures, then think beforehand on what you're going to be doing. Come up with some creative and imaginative poses before you pick up your camera!  

And think ahead of time about the background. Where are you taking the photos? Those same old images behind the locked bathroom doors that show the toilet seat and grooming products cluttering up the sink get tired and old real fast. If that's the only place you feel safe making naked selfies, then at least take the time to clean up and organize the background. 

And the same holds true for the photographs you take in your bedroom. You may like living in a pig-sty but the whole world doesn't need to know your business. Clean your room or at least pile all that shit up inside your closet and then shut the damn door. Handle your business right, guys! 

Just like the man above. He's made pictures wearing clothes and then after he's taken them off. He's not just standing there, staring at the camera. He's doing something besides just being a mannequin. We can see his abs and his free-hanging dick with no problem. And he at least looks natural and casual about his being nude. 

And he at least covered the chair in the background with a clean sheet. It may be the rattiest piece of furniture we have ever see, but we'd never know that from the photos he's made. There isn't even the hint of clutter in his background. 

Now this is a dude that I wouldn't mind meeting. Except that I prefer them just a little bit older. But that's just me.

Time to take those nude selfies. I've already cleaned my room and know the poses I'm going to use!
